Haily has been going to gymnastics since september 2013 every monday evening. She just loves it and has grown in so many different ways - and it is also a wonderful time to get out and enjoy something fun together. Last Monday it had been snowing all day and so at night when we headed to gymnastics the roads were a tad slippery, but nothing to be afraid of. I have always, and i'm sure will always continue, explained what we are doing, what is happening, why certain things happen...you get the idea. So that night was no different; the whole ride there (4 minute drive...ha) we talked about the snow and how the roads can get icy, so mommy has to be careful driving and we both have to be careful when walking on the sidewalks and in parking lots.
We arrive, go in, have a great time and after it was done we bundle back up in the car and start head home. Haily, who doesn't seem to miss a beat loudly reminds me:
H: MOM! Don't forget to drive very slow! The roads are slippery, you need to be safe!
M: What a great reminder Haily, thank you.
Hahaha....I could not stop smiling. My sweet little girl is already becoming a back seat driver. What a smartie-pants! Love her so much! xo
